STANDARD FEATURES
Seat Height
Getting the seat height high enough helps you achieve balance. When in balance you move just as easily forwards as backwards. If you prefer a higher seat height, use the footplates when leaning backwards. To change the seat height, lift the lever on the left hand side and lift your weight off the seat.
Seat depth, backrest height and tilt resistance
Seat depth should be short enough for your lower back to be supported by the backrest. You should also be able to move your legs under the chair. The tilt resistance should be hard/soft enough for you to be in comfortable balance and move just as easily forwards as backwards. Seat depth, backrest height and tilt resistance of the HAG H05 are easily adjusted at the same time. Turn the knob on the right hand side forward or backward. Lean once forwards and once backwards to activate the mechanism. Try small adjustments until you find the size and degree of mobility you like best.
Armrests
The armrests may give intermittent support to the forearms and to the elbows when sitting reclined. Armrests should not be used as long-term support when you are working at a desk. Chairs with the optional HÅG SwingBack armrests let you swing the armrests behind the chair back, making it easier to sit close to the desk. To change the height of the armrests push the buttons and slide the armrests up or down. To adjust the armrest width, use the wheel that is located on each armrest-holder under the chair. With HÅG SwingBack you can just push the armrests behind the chair.
Height | Depth of Headrest
The headrest can be adjusted up or down and also set closer and further away from you. To adjust the height of the headrest take hold of the cushion and slide it up or down. You can adjust the depth of the headrest by turning the knob under the chair on the headrest bracket.
Override of Liveliness
HAG H05 offers an extra personalization of the liveliness of the chair. Choose your own liveliness by using the set of levers under the chair on the right hand side marked by a + and -.
