The Inspiration, like the Classic, gives all the benefits of HAG's Balance Movement Mechanism (a fancy way to say the chair becomes a natural extension of your body). The back of the H09 Inspiration is transparent mesh and trimmed in high quality leather.

The HAG Inspiration H09 is produced in an environmentally friendly way for an environmentally friendly purpose. Both the production process and the choice of materials satisfy the most stringent environmental requirements. Easily replaceable components that are few in number result in a product with a long service life. The plastic components are labelled by type for at-source-sorting. As early as 1995, HAG was the first office furniture supplier in Europe to be registered as an environmentally aware organization under the EU EMAS Scheme (Eco Management and Audit Scheme). As such HAG is obliged to make regular reports and audits of the scheme’s extremely strict environmental requirements. Since 1999 HAG has been environmentally certified under ISO 14001. In 2005, all HAG chairs, including the HAG H09 collection, were tested and approved by The Greenguard Environmental Institute, which guarantees that our products do not emit any harmful gases or materials.

STANDARD FEATURES
Unlock!
HAG H09 Excellence chairs are normally delivered unlocked, and they should normally remain unlocked. However, HAG recommends locking the HAG Capisco in a neutral position when sitting back-to-front. You can lock the seat in the neutral or reclined position. To lock the tilt resistance, use the small lever with a green marking on the right side and push the lever backward. Unlock the chair by pulling the lever forward.
Seat Height
Getting the seat height high enough helps you to achieve balance. When in balance you can move just as easily forwards as backwards. If you prefer a higher seat height, you can use the footplates to lean backwards. To change the seat height, lift the lever and lift your weight off the seat.
Backrest Height
Your back and neck should be comfortable and supported when sitting upright or leaning back. Take hold of the lower part of the cushion and pull out to unlock. Then slide it up or down. Push firmly on the lower part of the cushion to fasten. Adjust the headrest for your comfort.
Tilt Resistance
Correct resistance helps to achieve balance. When in balance it is just as easy to move forwards as backwards. The more secure you feel about sitting dynamically, the less resistance you will prefer. For less backward resistance, turn the wheel to the right. For harder backward resistance turn to the left. Move the small lever forwards to soften the forward resistance, or backwards to harden the forward resistance.
Armrest (optional) & Headrest (high back only)
The armrests give elbow support when you are in a reclined position, and they tilt down, to allow you to sit closer to the desk. To change the height of the armrests push the buttons and slide the armrests up or down. To adjust the armrest width open the switch, move the armrest- close the switch. Tilt the armrests down by pressing the knob.
