Unlock!

HAG chairs are normally delivered unlocked, and they should normally remain unlocked. However, HAG recommends locking the HAG Capisco in a neutral position when sitting back-to-front. You can lock the seat in the neutral or reclined position. To lock the tilt resistance, use the small lever with a green marking on the right side and push the lever backward. Unlock the chair by pulling the lever forward.

Seat Height

By correctly adjusting the seat height you achieve balance. When you are in balance, you have the best point of departure for moving to a forward-leaning or backward-leaning position. In order to change seat height, lift the handle on the left upwards while lifting your weight from the seat.

Seat Depth and Lumbar Support

The seat depth must be short enough so that you can move your legs freely. A more dynamic use of the chair often requires a shorter seat depth. Grip the front of the seat edge with both hands and place your fingers in the recess underneath the seat. Press the button with your right thumb and move the back forwards or backwards to the desired position. We recommend that the seat depth allows you to move your feet freely underneath the chair. Approx. four fingers between the front edge of the seat and your calf is suitable.

It should feel comfortable, with good support for the back both when sitting normally and while leaning back. To adjust the lumbar support, remain seated, grip the handles on the back of the seat with both hands and adjust the lumbar cushion up or down to the desired position.

Tilt Resistance

The correct tilt resistance helps you sit in balance. When you are in balance, you have the best point of departure for moving to a forward-leaning or backward-leaning position. HÅG Futu has a centred tilting point and a seat mechanism called inBalance. inBalance ensures that the majority of users sit in balance. If you still require an adjustment, you can adjust the tilt resistance very easily. In order to adjust the tilt resistance, pull the handle underneath the chair’s right side a notch outwards. The chair has been adjusted. Repeat the exercise if further adjustment is required. The handle has five positions. Tilt resistance is greatest when the handle is in the innermost position.

Armrest & Headrest Depth / Height

The armrests support your forearms when leaning backwards. It is not recommended to use the armrests for long-term support. The armrests can be lowered so that you can get closer to a desk. In order to adjust the height of the armrests, press the buttons on the insides of the armrests and move them up or down. The width is adjusted by pulling the handle on the lower side of the armrest while moving the armrest to the desired position.
